Hostelling International – Austin is in the heart of Texas’ scenic Hill Country with a wall of windows overlooking the shores of beautiful Town Lake. Whatever your musical preference, every night you’ll find it in the “Live Music Capital of the World.” Our 40 bed Hostel provides all you’ll need to make the most out of these attractions only minutes from downtown and on a bus route. There’s a great Hike and Bike trail right on our doorstep. Our mission is to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling. HI-Austin opened its doors on July 1, 1989 and is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
